Treatment: ThermoGold™️ is a process of stabilizing cane's fibers which comes out as a conclusion of more than 5 years of research in this matter. Throughout a series of thermo and humidifying techniques, we manage to offer a reed which is ready to play and keeps consistency in time being less affected by humidity and temperature changes faces by professional musicians. We recommend this treatment for those players who are looking for the benefits of a synthetic reed but keeping the same characteristics of a natural reed.
MORE INFO ABOUT THE CUT:
The CORE model is our first line of clarinet reeds. This model is inspired by the traditional methods of making reeds before the mass production that took place since the 1950s.
CORE model, like all our models, is produced trying to avoid as much as possible automated production processes that hinder the personalised control of our experts.
In essence, the models CORE and PRESENCE have the same architecture in the heart of the reed but differ in the shape and thickness of its tip, CORE being inspired by the French school (easy and dark sound with simple staccatos and docility in the legatos) and PRESENCE inspired by the German school (dynamic sound with more present staccatos).
As the edges of the tip are square, the PRESENCE model is recommended for musicians who are used to playing with strong reeds. CORE instead, is recommended to those who look for an easy material that gives a full vibration feeling in mouth.
